12 Days of Thanks – Day 6

several small American flagsI am on to day 6 of my 12 Days of Thanks. Reached the halfway point! I don’t think I will totally stop at Thanksgiving, but am looking to make these gratitude statements a weekly feature here at the BVAS connection. Why not? Gratitude is the Attitude!

Today I am thankful for:

  • My country. So thankful that I was born in the USA.
  • For our service men and women who are here and abroad faithfully serving our country and protecting our freedom.
  • An awesome regional meeting with the AsAMom.org patriots last night that gave me a new fire inside and reminded me how much I love my country.
  • The opportunity I will get when he grows up to encourage my son to follow his dreams, whatever they may be, and to watch them unfold.

“Appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.” -Margaret Cousins
